Neuschwanstein Schloss in Bavaria. What a magnificent sight it is, sitting below the Bavarian alps on a rocky crop, shining white against the dark mountains with its tall thin towers where you expect to see maidens pining for their handsome princes. It looks even better from above with the aptly named Swan Lake behind.
The mountain forests are just as impressive and I've felt compelled to create a timeless scene from there. The trees may not be the rights species for the area but this is how I imagined it, with a figure (perhaps that prince) resting in the shade. More likely me escaping the tourist hordes below.
