This fantasy forest scene is inspired by the imagined romantic era of knights, maidens and castles. A story can be made of the knight, while approaching the far of castle, coming upon a fair maiden admiring a mystical lake with her horse. Stuff of legends but nostalgic escapism.I’ve been indulging myself in this artwork. Pen and India ink using techniques that I’ve been practising with over the past year.
